Get Informed! Get Inspired! “Green” exhibitors with info on reducing your energy bills, transportation alternatives, gardening, recycling and much more! This is a FREE event with FREE giveaways and ALL are welcome! Organizations/agencies with informational tables at the Fair include: Transit for Livable Communities, HourCar, Hennepin County Environmental Services, CenterPoint Energy, Center for Energy and Environment, Gardening Matters, Roofbloom/Cermak-Rhoades, Hennepin County Master Gardeners, Powerfully Green, Sustainable Resource Center, MN Pollution Control Agency, MetroBlooms, Mississippi Watershed Management Organization, Metro Transit, Vote Yes MN, CVS, MN Renewable Energy Society, Do it Green!, BookMooch, Midtown Greenway Coalition, Nook & Cranny and the Sierra Club. Workshops: 1pm--“Save Energy, Save Money: Practical Actions that Work” with Center for Energy and Environment 1:45pm--“How to Start a New Community Garden” with Gardening Matters 2:30pm--“Solar Power 101” with Powerfully Green 3:15pm--“Residential Green Roofs” with Cermak Rhoades Architects FREE CVS reusable shopping bags for the first 50 people plus CFL bulbs from Xcel to be given away as well as Haralson apples!
