A very important conference is taking place in October 2008, an event that will ultimately have an impact on everyone in Minnesota and beyond.
The Minnesota Invasive Species Advisory Council, in conjunction with the Minnesota Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society and the University of Minnesota Sea Grant Program, is sponsoring the first Minnesota Invasive Species Conference, October 26 – 29, 2008, in Duluth, Minnesota.
The focus of this conference is the exchange of information regarding aquatic and terrestrial invasive species. Through educational sessions, poster displays, exhibits, and networking opportunities, this conference will strengthen the awareness of the issues and provide information on how to respond.
