Do It Green! Workshops

Do It Green! Minnesota offers hands-on, interactive workshops throughout the metro area to motivate Minnesotans to live greener.

Through the years we have worked hard to bring together information and resources to promote living green through our Do It Green! Magazine and web database. Our workshops were created in 2006 to help bridge folks from learning about living green and sustainably, to actually DOING IT!

Each of us are on a sustainability journey – whether you are just starting to learn about green living issues, or have become a green guru, these workshops are designed with hands-on and interactive elements to help you take that next step in your journey during the workshop itself towards making a long term behavior change for the environment and your health. The topics and activities in our workshops are chosen with two key elements in mind:

• Is it a high environmental impact activity?
• Is it of interest to the Minnesota community?

Join us for an upcoming Do It Green! workshop - while you’re at it, invite a friend, family member or co-worker to join you on your green living journey! Change is always easier if you have a community of supporters.

Workshop Fees:
We charge a minimal fee for workshops to ensure attendance, to purchase workshop supplies, presenter fees, space rental and workshop promotions. It is a priority to make workshops accessible to folks of all income levels. If you are not able to afford a workshop fee, please email ami@doitgreen.org or call 612-345-7973 to request a sliding scale or workshop scholarship option.
