Family Day on the Farm! Join The Grass Fed Cattle Co. for family day on the farm! Get to know Farmer Dan and learn about his farming practices, the benefits of rotational grazing, the different types of grasses the cattle eat, and humane treatment of animals. This will be a family friendly event; a casual and interactive way to learn about sustainable farming and making quality food choices! The day’s activities: 11:00 - 11:15 a.m. Gather for lemonade 11:15 - 12:15 p.m. Hayride tour of the farm, pasture and visit with the cows. Farmer Dan will be your tour guide while answering your questions. 12:15 - 1:00 p.m. Lunch provided by The Grass Fed Cattle Co. 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Optional – Walk or bike the mile long trail through the farm, or wade in the creek.
