The shared recycling department for the Cities of Apple Valley, Eagan and Burnsville. DVR connects residents and businesses to recycling, composting and disposal information. Home of the ARROW program, recognizing area businesses for their environmentally responsible choices.

Hennepin County provides information on reducing, reusing and recycling. We operate two drop-off facilities for recyclables and household hazardous waste. In addition, we encourage residents to compost, conserve energy, incorporate sustainable landscaping practices and improve water quality.

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency provides educational resources for people trying to reduce their environmental impact in Minnesota and Education resources for teachers and environmental educators.

Sewtropolis is a DIY sewing studio and fabric store located in South Minneapolis. We have a large, spacious sewing studio equipped with everything a sewer may need, including the sewing machine. We offer fabric and patterns from such designers as Amy Butler, Heather Baily, Kaffe Fassett and more. Beginning sewing classes are offered for children, teens and adults. For those more experienced sewers we offer a Fashion Sewing Club hosted by the Material Girls. Join us during our monthly sit & Sews and get inspired to finish those unfinished projects. Sewtropolis can also accommodate small groups of sewers for such events as birthdays, Girl Scout troops and guild sewing events

Tooterville Learning Center in Oakdale opening in August,will be the first Eco-Healthy/Eco-Friendly Learning center in Minnesota. Tooterville has been in the early childhood business for 34 years, we offer a devlopmentally appropriate curriculum for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years with an emphasis on "living green"

West Wisconsin Land Trust is dedicated to preserving western Wisconsin's natural character, saving wild and scenic places. Since 1988, West Wisconsin Land Trust has conserved over 25,000 acres of farms and natural areas throughout 20 counties in western Wisconsin. The success of WWLT's land conservation and environmental education programs is made possible through the faithful support of over 1,000 members.
