Whimsey in a Basket is a simulated “fantasy garden” crafted in a wicker basket. Each basket is uniquely designed and landscaped with miniature living plants and small garden decorations. The decorations may include a small hand-painted house with a pathway and rock garden, a hand-painted birdhouse, a butterfly, a figurine (gnome, fairy, wizard, dragon, unicorn, etc.) and other embellishments. Thus, each “fantasy garden” is a one-of-a-kind creation.

Tired Ol' Belts is a small, local MN business that creates fashion/waist belts, key chains, and guitar straps (more products in "development", i.e. our minds) out of 100% recycled bicycle parts.

Full Circle Studios is comprised of two artists who are both committed to bringing new life to old materials. Amy and Matt Palmer work together to design one of a kind jewelry from a variety of found objects. Bottle caps, keys, old watches and gears, brass instruments and switch plates, copper wire and pipes and even poker chips excite their creativity and inspire new and exciting works of art.

Much of ArtStart's innovation can be seen in its dynamic programs and projects: ArtScraps Materials Reuse Center, open to the general public, our School Residencies and Interdisciplinary Arts Summer Camp for students and teachers, our ScrapMobile portable community art program and our new exhibit space for artists, the ArtGallery.
