Now in its 19th year, the annual Bioneers Conference, held in San Rafael, CA, attracts over 3,500 people from around the world to hear global perspectives that illuminate the interdependence of life on Earth and propose solutions to current issues; solutions grounded in four billion years of evolutionary intelligence.
In addition to those attending the originating Bioneers Conference in California, over 12,000 people view the featured plenary speakers from 21 other locations in the U.S. and Canada. The Northland Bioneers Conference, held every Fall in Minneapolis/St.Paul, is one of these satellite sites.
The local Northland Bioneers Conference features plenary speakers, workshops, dialogues, networking, exhibitors and food. This inspiring event offers promising approaches addressing global and human health by researchers, teachers, community leaders, and citizens who dedicate their lives to ecological and social well being. Optimism abounds at this 3-day event, where over 500 attendees take what they’ve learned back to their homes and communities in the five-state region, inspiring systemic changes that increase the vitality of their communities.
In 2007, the Northland Bioneers Conference was held at the UAW Ford Training Center on the Mississippi River at Ford Parkway, a site was generously offered by the UAW Labor and Sustainability Group.
